s1: From the Renaissance to the Stonewall Riot of 1969, learning about queer history has been a blast. I keep coming back to post/WW2 queer subculture, so that's where I intent to hone in on for second semester. I am still in the process of figuring out how to present a queer timeline project, but I have started a few different versions of showing my understanding of queer history.
Watching Paris is Burning and The Untold Tales of Armistead Maupin really aided in my interest and understanding of queer culture and the timeline the communities growth.
I plan on finishing QT&E, without the focus of taking notes though. I also know I need to read more about Magnus Hirschfeld's life so I can work towards being an expert on him and his work. "Paris is Burning" and Magnus Hirschfeld are the two planets I am going to be orbiting my work around for SS in Second Semester.
Most of my notes and work is physical.
q1: Mostly looking into Nazi triangle code and the atrocities around homosexuals being deported to concentration camps. Lots of reading from Queer, There, and Everywhere
